Booking Policies

Nanny Pay (Paid Directly to the Nanny)

  • $28/hr for one child

  • + $5/hr for each additional child

  • 4-hour minimum per booking

  • Payment is made directly to the nanny (cash, Venmo, or preferred method)

Platform Fees (Paid to PNH)

Visitors

  • $7/hr platform fee

  • $60 booking fee

  • $25 last-minute fee (requests made within 24 hours)

  • $25 travel fee for Lahaina / West Side bookings

Kamaʻāina

  • $3/hr platform fee

  • $30 booking fee

  • $25 last-minute fee (requests made within 24 hours)

  • $25 travel fee for Lahaina / West Side bookings (if applicable)

Booking Process

  • Submitting a request does not guarantee availability.

  • A nanny is confirmed only once PNH sends an official confirmation.

  • If your scheduled nanny becomes unavailable, PNH will attempt to find a replacement at no additional cost.

Safety & Care Guidelines

  • Nannies are independent contractors, not employees of PNH.

  • Nannies do not transport children under any circumstances.

  • All care must remain on the property unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Parents provide instructions for routines, allergies, meals, naps, and safety care.

Cancellations & Changes

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking may be subject to charges at the nanny’s discretion.

  • Rescheduling is based on nanny availability and is not guaranteed.

Payment Overview

Families pay:

  • The nanny directly for hourly childcare

  • PNH for booking fees, platform fees, last-minute fees, and travel fees

PNH provides:

  • Access to vetted, qualified, independent childcare professionals

  • A streamlined matching service to connect families with available nannies

Liability

Professional Nannies Hawai‘i acts solely as a referral platform connecting families with independent childcare providers.
By booking, families acknowledge that childcare services are provided directly by the nanny.
