Locally Founded on Maui
As a mother of two young children, born and raised here in Hawaiʻi, I know how important it is to find childcare you can truly trust. Professional Nannies Hawaii is Hawaiian-owned and rooted in our island community, run by a local mom raising her own keiki right here on Maui.
Before I had children of my own, I spent years nannying on Maui. I saw firsthand how meaningful that work is, and how often great caregivers and the families who needed them simply couldn't find each other. That gap is what led me to start this company.
My goal is simple: connect families with kind, experienced nannies who genuinely love caring for children. Every nanny we work with is background-checked, CPR and first aid certified, and personally water-safety briefed by me, selected not just for their professionalism, but for their warmth and reliability.

How it works
Submit Your Request
Tell us your dates, your Maui resort or address, and the ages of your keiki — our nannies are instantly notified and the right one will claim your job based on their availability. Most jobs are claimed within a few hours of being listed, often much sooner!
Meet Your Nanny
You're welcome to connect with your nanny by phone or FaceTime ahead of time for a quick meet and greet — we want you to feel completely at ease before they arrive.
Your Nanny Is Confirmed
Once a nanny accepts, you'll receive a confirmation with all the details. Then just relax and enjoy your Maui vacation, wedding, or date night knowing your keiki are in great hands.

Rates Overview
A one-time, non-refundable booking fee is charged per reservation to cover nanny vetting, scheduling, and coordination.
Visitor Rates
Booking Fee:
Standard: $60 + tax
Major Holiday: $120 + tax
Hourly Rates:
$30/hour for 1 child
+$5/hour for each additional child (up to 4 children)
3-hour minimum booking
More than 4 children requires a second nanny
(paid directly to Nanny)
Kamaʻāina Rates
Booking Fee:
Standard: $40 + tax
Major Holiday: $90 + tax
Hourly Rates:
$25/hour for 1 child
+$5/hour for each additional child (up to 4 children)
3-hour minimum booking
More than 4 children requires a second nanny
(paid directly to Nanny)
West Side Travel Fee
An additional $25 travel fee applies to sits in Lahaina and Kapalua, paid directly to your nanny to help cover travel to the west side of the island.
Holidays
Major holidays include: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day (July 4).

For families seeking more consistent or ongoing care, we also offer a more hands-on matching option to help find a nanny who’s the right long-term fit.
We are currently growing our nanny network, so long-term availability can be more limited—but we would absolutely love to connect and explore what might be possible for your family.

Cancellation Policy
Booking fees are non-refundable once a nanny has been confirmed.
If we are unable to find a nanny for your booking, your booking fee will be fully refunded.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled sit are not eligible for a refund or credit.
We will always do our best to accommodate schedule changes based on nanny availability.
